Frankly I understand why you that way since they have achieved an incredible feat of acquiring Copeinca. This solicitation issue is a piece of cake.

This solicitaion issue has some bearing on the loan as well ... I am sure the BOD will hasten the process and seriously look into it. Otherwise, investors will think the way JMS' feel .... sure one lah

Maybe that is how they play their game .... HaiZzzzz

No wonder TL really boey song &ldquo why are they silence with regard to the solicitation issue ? The company is unlikely to ignore frustrated investors forever. They have to show financial discipline and be responsive. They need to give update to the investors.&rdquo

The BOD is playing along with the financial institutions, media &hellip . to benefit themselves. Creating the financial saga and after that solicitation issue. These are man made issue. There are many frustrated investors who will challenge their action. Paying big money to a bunch of incompetent teams to negotiate or to have coffee &hellip thus far produce no result.

wayang wayang wayang &hellip letting 5 investors hold up the solicitation  process &hellip if not incompetent then it is in cahoot. Payment is not cheap to the team.

Either you convince the 5 or settle the rest of them. Otherwise pay all of them. Making a mockery about this whole loan saga. It is a joke

Bro, don&rsquo t think investors are excited but rather frustrated and dissatisfied with the free warrants given to Carlyle Group. Investors are not stupid, they know that CF is cheap. Investors confronted the management, why the rest of the investors are not given the warrants &hellip . ? If it is expensive who would want to fight or contest the decision of the board &hellip .

You think Global Thematic is stupid throw ~ $20,000,000 into CF

TL has mentioned &ldquo Why are they silence with regard to the solicitation issue ? The company is unlikely to ignore frustrated investors forever. They have to show financial discipline and be responsive. They need to give an update to the investors.&rdquo

Stop flirting with the media on the solicitation matters. You are paying big money to the team to get the job done.

If they continue to use their % in the company to overwrite the retailer investors, they may have to account for their action.

Exactly the PE is so low and nothing wrong with the fundamental. If you search for China Fishery, this headline will appear " what is wrong with this value stock ?" Or " why is the stock trading so far under water?"

Understand why someone voiced vehemently his or her frustration.
With earnings we should be collect good dividends when the stock turn around. Just be patience

If we reason and consider the surrounding facts about CF. The float is rather low and the PE is probably 8.75 which make it rather attractive. Sure 0.32 is good that will bring the PE to 8. It could be a time to collect for some since more than 80~90% are locked up by the top 5.

Any selldown could be a opportune time to collect. The current correction is a window of opportunity. We are only weeks before end of the year.

Will watch how the market develop ...

Kyoto2008, EZ is speaking to the one who said " Jia Lat" not to you,  to go over to Yuuzoo. Isn' t it good ??? Why did you shushshsh EZ when you have high regard for CF ???

As you have said " nothing is wrong with the fundamental, so the question should be " what' s is wrong with this value stock ?"

It is kind of boring without him ... we should have him around ... haha at least the thread is more alive

Agreed with JMS, if CF is Jia Lat why would Global Thematic shored up their stake to become the third largest shareholder in CF. Maybe someone should find out if they are reaching the threshold to become a SSH in CF ?

I agreed with you " nothing wrong with CF' s fundamental" .... all the best

This is one key event that you must take note. On this day, 1 Sept 2010, the Investment Committee was formed. 3 years later, this Investment Committee led China Fishery in the successful acquisition of Copineca. Now, they have consolidated the whole operation into Greater China Fishery. Enjoy ....

Stockpicker, I am sure you have gotten the answer, " They are deleveraging" That' s the reason why I disagreed with you, when you said
" It is just poor planning if a company has to sell its assets to pay its debts .....   "

Funds are returning so look forward to the next financial statement.

It said that the refund of $241.5m from the cancelled long-term supply agreements with Russian suppliers " is on track" . Already $80m was paid back in June, and another $60m is expected before the end of September. The rest should be paid by the end of September 2016.

China Fishery  should also partly liquidate the $183m inventory it had by the end of June, as the fishing season enters its lowest point, said Fitch.

" This cash release together with the LSA refund might drive China Fishery' s FY14 net leverage to below 3.5x if management continues to deleverage," concluded the agency.

The leverage could then be taken to below 3x, if China Fishery manages to generate a cash flow of around $600m in its 2015 financial year (Sept 2014- Sept 2015), it said.

The company said  demand for fishmeal and savings from consolidating its Peruvian operations should further strengthen the firm.

Since you know CF so well.. ask one question,  why CF returned  the $500 mil bank loan,  fully knowing that they might want to redeem the Copeinca bond?... they just borrowed this loan for this purpose before..and abouit to redeem the bond..  now they are left with $138mll which is barely enough for rainy days.. something very fishy..

Everything works both ways. Newton' s 3 Laws of Motion " For every action there is an equal and opposite re-action."

Valuebuyer, you are right " how low can they push ?"

Even though the price remains at 0.365, energy is expended .... let the market decides

Now we know for sure China Fishery is sitting on GOLD MINES, Banks knew about it.

Of course I have the answer. How about you give yourself time to think about the question ? Not difficult to find the answer

There is nothing fishy .. just got to put yourself in the shoe of the management and you will have the answer.

Anyway I have said enough. Enjoy .... and watch the Fish grow.

Between Fitch and you ... won' t want to say who has the authority. Without saying everyone knows Fitch, rather than a pseudo person' s name.

Who offer an unbiased view ? I guess the answer is clear.

Enjoy ... woah woah woah Copeinca is a gold mine

You simply choose to speak untrue and it is becoming more and more apparent. They are careful with their planning and have consolidated their operation. You have exposed yourself ... maybe you should do your due diligence ... make the font size bigger so you can see better and clearer

China Fishery' s operation remains cash generative and it is likely to generate positive free cash flow to help in its deleveraging. Revenue for the nine months to 30 June 2014 increased by 13.4% from a year earlier and EBITDA margin increased to 44.5% from 43.2%, primarily due to higher revenue contribution and cost savings from the enlarged Peruvian fishmeal operations, which offset the thinner trading margins from the spot purchase business in Russia.  Fitch expects the underlying earnings profile of China Fishery to strengthen given the firm demand for fishmeal, a staple needed for aquaculture globally, and savings to be realised from the further consolidation of its enlarged Peruvian business. The refund of a total US$241.5m from a long-term supply agreement (LSA) with its Russian suppliers is on track. China Fishery received US$80m in June 2014 and it expects to receive another US$60m by the end of the current fiscal year on 30 September 2014 (FY14) with the remaining to be fully paid by end of FY16. Its inventory of USD183m at end-June 2014 will be partly liquidated by the end of FY14 as the fishing season enters its lowest point. This cash release together with the LSA refund might drive China Fishery' s FY14 net leverage to below 3.5x if management continues to deleverage. China Fishery' s ability to generate positive free cash flow of about USD90m from FY15 will help the company reduce its leverage to below 3.0x by FY16.

Ok. Let me show you why the Lenders said " MUST NOW BE QUARANTEED BY COPEINCA"

Based on its US$2.5 billion of assets at the end of March, Copeinca accounted for at least 90 per cent of the group&rsquo s total assets and earnings, company filings show.

Are you still going to say no money, no funds, look at the statement ....  US$2.5 billion of assets at the end of March.  Copeinca is a gold mine.
