Ezra&rsquo s 2QFY15 (Aug) PATMI was lacklustre at USD0.138m, affected by

weakness in its OSV operations. However, we think the stock has been

far oversold, with its subsidiaries trading at 0.24x-0.5x P/BVs while Ezra

itself trades at 0.3x P/BV. We go out on a limb and upgrade Ezra to BUY

(vs Neutral), as we believe that its book value is not 70% impaired,

though we trim our SOP-based TP to a conservative SGD0.55 (25.0%

upside) from SGD0.85 as we tweak our SOP methodology

push up Triyard share price and sell to another hand like what they did for Ezion

Likely approach should be liquidating their assets like NOL. They did before for Triyards & EMAS Offshore which were quite successful. Afterall they are asset rich.. Time to release the values of assets to mkt. And also to reduce their gearing...

yes they pay div every year with better yield then some blue chips but MS seem like is a small family company ....

Mun Siong has up its div from 0.24c (incl  special div  0.09c) to 0.5c (incl special div  0.35c) for 2014. Is it shifting to more div yield (now 6% based on 8.3c share price) to attract investors?

The issue is that there is very few sellers...wait for people to sell.

David Lum recently sold out his LCD stake so he has some $ to invest....

 

By buying out the CEO' s stake means he may be looking to run the company BUT he is a property/construction guy so what does he know abt the semicond industry?

Perhaps he is looking to sell the semicond biz and turn the company into another property play?

If so, expect him to make a GO....
