Singapore-listed Ezra Holdings&rsquo group CEO, Lionel Lee is optimistic the group&rsquo s subsea unit, EMAS AMC, with an active tender book boosted by resilient subsea tie-back demand, would be well-placed to maintain its $1 billion order backlog through 2015.

EMAS AMC has $10 billion worth of contracts in its bid pipeline, with subsea tie-backs accounting for a sizeable percentage of its outstanding tenders on hand, Lee said at a second quarter group results briefing Tuesday.





 



Subsea tie-backs are deemed as cost effective alternatives to maintain production levels under a lower oil price environment, Lee explained.

Even with oil prices hovering at a range of $50 to $60 a barrel, or about half of the $100 and above levels seen in the first half of 2014, Lee said field operators are still moving forward with sanctioned projects in the deepwater basins across the U.S. Gulf of Mexico, Africa and Asia Pacific.

This coy' s regularity in winning contracts is amazing.  Problem is they don' t translate into strong profits.  So, one could only conclude that the contracts are won at fire-sale prices.

SINGAPORE (April 15): Swiber Holdings has clinched a new contract worth US$133 million ($181 million) from a repeat customer in India, marking its third project in the country this year.

The latest project, scheduled to be completed by 2Q2016, requires Swiber to provide engineering, procurement, installation and construction services for six pipelines totalling 60km.

The contract was awarded by the same national oil company that gave Swiber its two India deals in the last two months.

Swiber' s order book now stands at a record high of almost US$2 billion.

A counter which is currently trading  @ $10 going up 10 cents and another counter trading @ 22 cents going up 2.5 cents, would you say first counter has lot of action?

in terms of percentage is quite high but price wise is only 2 1/2 cents differ,   that is what Kelvin24 meaning

Offcourse la, when you always take a part out to release pressure, its very smart.  

Your intital post suggested you went in on contra and took out full. Its generally habits of poor traders/investor who gamble one on experience but without much idea la. Always end up loosing more hard earn money for so called kopi money. Somemore go in later at a higher price, which climb less due to loose steam. Spend more brokerage and sometimes dont get kopi money also. Stupid right?

SG counters up side very conservative , after up for 10 cents it will pull back a bit and consolidate for quite a while then see how' s the market conditions. We know any counter trading in SGX can never move up 50% within a short period

But when you exit earlier than the jump available you lower earning potential for your brothers and sisters along with your own.. Ask me how if its not clear why!

If US market go up tonight then this guy go up another 20 cents or so. Triyards has a liquidity problem (i.e. you just wont find enough buyers/sellers during usual times). Use it to your discretion and hold it when going up, sell it when going down.
