Well if the covid disappear and everyone is travelling, which is likely by 5 years, SIA will be higher than this price.
If the bank interest rate is so low, it is a good investment

If the share price dropped so much in such a short time, there is usually a double bottom before any sustained rise, unless some major event change.
So I am looking at buying at 1.47 over the next few days

And a few more gaps above. It is still in " bear" mode now, with retailers using the opportunity to cash out on any uptick.
Recovery may be slow, unless there is super normal news, directly or indirectly.

Hold.
I am more bullish now.
The financing is making SIA stronger.
I don't think anyone should be shorting now.
SiA may hit $4 next week

I can think of one reason why the boss by his shares back.
He is confident of the coming report and thinks there is good dividend.
In order to collect more dividends himself, he split the shares ( or 1 +1 bonus).
and buy back his shares.

In addition, Thong said there may not be an oversupply of gloves after the pandemic, as Top Glove had pointed out that there are key issues in ramping up supply that need to be addressed,

Also I don't believe you can use small amount money to gain 30 to 40%
Where got so good unless very high risk.
I won't put 1 million in that kind.
It is either very safe or safe on long term

🤔 u have $1m but dont u think u can earn more by doing less risky bets? Although i lost $10k in my 5th round short, i made US$8k when i long DOW prior to election.. my net gain on shorting SIA is $70k of which i used less capital than u. Note that at one pt, u down by 60% loss ($600k loss of $1m)
U pump in $1m for mths and make $100k. Are there better stocks for better returns? When MAS announced div capped for banks, dbs drop to $19+ now its $24+ im just curious. U have lots of money and should fall under sophisticated investor but why such strange decision?
And for wise investor who target 30% for this yr, i said before, this yr is easy. Covid happen earier this yr and any uncle or aunty who picked up most stks would have easily got 20-30%. The qn is, moving forward? Buy and hold till next crisis and see gains wipe out? Keep holding on for miserable divs? I buy large on DBS not just for divs. I see its share price potential for appreciation. |

Why do you short SIA and buy the MCB?
See you lose by shorting but gain nothing buying MCB

I am beginning to feel that too.
It is hard to predict price movements.
I have no regret selling my shares.
It is better to hold fewer shares and let the Market take over.
Perhaps we will see $4 soon
TA_Expert ( Date: 11-Nov-2020 16:23) Posted:
Market is forward looking.
SIA maintains at $3.90 shows that most of the shortists have covered back.
Buyers are starting to come in.
No more $3 talk no matter how much SIA report losses given that the govt will do whatever it takes to prevent bankruptcy. Technically SIA is given a blank cheque by the govt. SIA is too big to fail. |

No one can predict the price. I don't know whether SIA will go up or down from here.
I am just posting my trades which have been quite profitable recently.
I sold more than 1 million worth of shares and made about 100k.
This was very high risk as I was having 600K paper loss when share was 3.38.
Its a sigh of big relief.
I will still support SIA with my remaining shares. Hopefully will hit $5 by year end as predicted by some guru
