Probably folks disgruntled at Yongnam' s current price when it should rightly be flying high above 40cts  kiss

Did anyone read the notice on today' s AGM?

I was quite surprised to see about 9-10% of the shareholders voted AGAINST the FY report and also re-election of CEO and other board members.

Who are these dissident voters?

Did Yongnam tender   for sub contract jobs ?

They are expereince being already done so many MRT projects.........they have many skill engineers and workers season for MRT work.

If they do tender for sub con job. they have good cghance of getting some slices of pies :)

Hope they win some BIG new contracts soon............have been like sleeping while other construction firms flying ...........in their stock proces......

Its turn should be soon..............the question is just WHEN ? :)

It was a once off thingie due to cost overun for 2 of its project.   Water under the bridge already.   This years projected yield is already 2.5% taking into account all these factors.  yes

morningstar13      ( Date: 15-Apr-2014 10:45) Posted:

Why? This year' s dividend will be reduced to 0.6 cent, (unlike previous years of 1 cent) according to AGM agenda on 28 Apr 2014. Yield will drop significantly leh..wouldnt price div further?
