Cheap can get cheaper.  High can get higher.  Only the outcome of trading will tell us.

Aiya what people buy is people's money.  But in a forum always remember anyone could be wrong and when you follow because of being excited, you may fall into another person's trap. Not saying about June, but in general.

A big population like China will have the cream of the crop good and bad.  Regulations and enforecement and " punity" are the ingredients for making the market players obey the traffic lights and keeping to proper lanes. Then will be like Singapore people, kiasu and kiasi.  But Sg is unique, because we have NS and you learn how to play by the rules and obedience abiding. China people are always smart and adventurous.  They flood the whole world already and most country worldwide  has listing of S-Chips in their exchanges.

Agreed.  There are many many good S-Chips.  Go to any city in China, and you can witness the enormous growth by seeing their developments, their towns, their trains, their MRTs  and their crowds swamping here and there!  Just one dollar from each of them and you could be a multi billionaire.  Buy S-chips now

Haha, I think they read my postings, about DOW 15K, reflected and thought that I was quite right being so bullish about the US market and by inference all stock markets!  So now I also feel good that we are going into a most exciting era in stocks.  Bragging only hahahaha...lol lol.

Strategists at the biggest banks are capitulating on their bearish forecasts after the best start to a year for global stocks since 1994. Just two weeks after saying that investors should “remain cautious,” Larry Hatheway, the chief economist at UBS AG, raised his recommendations on global shares and high-yield bonds in a Jan. 23 note to customers entitled, “Wrong, but not too late.” Royal Bank of Scotland Group Plc, and Benoit Anne, the global head of emerging-markets strategy at Societe Generale SA, said their estimates for developing nations were proven wrong. The MSCI All-Country World Index (MXWD) climbed 5.7 percent in January, surprising strategists at Bank of America Corp. (BAC), Goldman Sachs Group Inc. and Barclays Plc who had forecast first-half losses because of Europe’s debt crisis. “In hindsight, everybody was so beared up at the end of last year,” Mary Ann Bartels, the New York-based head of technical and market analysis at Bank of America, who predicted on Dec. 27 that the S& P 500 would probably fall about 15 percent in the first half before recovering, said in a Jan. 31 phone interview. “There was nowhere for the market to go but up.”

When Dow crosses the 13K, (200 or so pts to go), then the step is one more closer to my prediction of DOW  15K to come..  Lol.  STI 3000++ is obviously going to be a forgone conclusion.  Everybody huat arh in the dragon year.  LOL.

It is a good sign that people now see values in stocks esp the pennies.  Important to arrive at one logical conclusion rather than the old tune.  We need to ask if our market is bottomish or toppish.  If toppish, then fear that pennies might be the last play may be a wise assumption, but if bottomish, then it isjust playing base buidling and we are really going into a most enjoyable period of stock investment if we are currently very attractively overly  low-priced in our  pennies. LOL..

But also don't forget predictions are not exact science.  It could be very wrong or very accurate.  But watch out for ISO's chanting.  Too many chanting can make things come true, I heard, LOL.

Kong Hee Huat Chye!  Huat arh for all penny stocks.  The time is overdue.  Look out for two type of pennies, one: those making a comeback in earnings in the previous quarters, two: those overly undervalued even unimaginably in the worst of times.  Huat arh.

Those who look at the charts and still want to short  Euro/USD sure have brave hearts.  I don't think is advisable to short looking at the long tail of the candle in the green one. What does it mean, you must know.

i trade forex eur usd not euro index itself.  i only trade when i see some signals based on my strategy. but today is my rest day. i usually rest and watch markets on fridays. although sometimes i get itchy and trade.  lol.

Do you know why I said, garhman lost out when COE came down?  It is just arithmetics. Every year your COE Value (PARF) depreciates by 10 percent. until 10 years later, it becomes zero.  If you pay $100K for COE, that money goes to the garhman first from the issue of the certificates to car companies.  Then if refund (cut off, scrap of by accident or by expiry) the refund you will  use up again for a newer car which has a new COE of 100 percent given to the authorities.  So actually your burn rate is 10percent on the car asset (not including other expenses for usage).  HDB flats are in some way similar, but it takes a longer time, 100 years (,i.e. 99 year lease) to use up the money.  So stock markets by right should move upwards and not downwards to match the inflationary value of things.  Now it looks mostly  like the opposite.  STI should cheong. Singapore Huat Arh!!!

settowin      ( Date: 13-Jan-2012 12:24) Posted:

Ya, they were very lucky.  Only the garhman lose out only.  I don't know if this is also a gimmick.

medivh      ( Date: 13-Jan-2012 12:20) Posted:

I would say that was very fortunate for those who bidded and got the $2 COE (" ,) ya?

Yes, that happened twice, if I am not mistaken..  $1.00 COE was bidded and was given to the 1200 category.

A very good piece of advice! Sell when you are in profit unless you know the counter is  too much  undervalued.
