UPDATE ON THE LANDMARK DEVELOPMENT

The Board of Directors of Yoma Strategic Holdings Ltd. (the &ldquo Company&rdquo ) is extremely pleased

to inform shareholders that Meeyahta International Hotel Limited (&ldquo MIHL&rdquo ), a company in which

the Company holds an effective interest of eighty per cent. (80%) and which holds the land

development rights for the downtown site in Yangon described as the Landmark

Development received a letter dated 10th March 2015 from the Myanmar Investment

Commission (&ldquo MIC&rdquo ) stating that it had approved the extension of the lease in accordance to the

Myanmar Foreign Investment Law for the redevelopment of the former headquarters of the

Burma Railways Company into a five star hotel as a Build-Operate-Transfer project and directing

the Ministry of Rail Transportation to proceed to take the necessary next steps to extend the

lease.

The site currently comprises the Grand Meeyahta Hotel (which had ceased operations in

October 2013 to make way for the proposed redevelopment) and the former headquarters of the

Burma Railways Company which is a heritage site built in 1877. The Company and its joint

venture partners intend to develop the site into a mixed-used development including

the redevelopment of the former headquarters of the Burma Railways Company into &ldquo The

Peninsula Yangon&rdquo (the &ldquo Landmark Development&rdquo ).

The Company is delighted that this decision has been reached by the MIC after a protracted

period of negotiations with the relevant authorities and will commence immediately on the

necessary steps with the Ministry of Rail Transportation to finalise the lease extension of the

sites for the Landmark Development.

ON BEHALF OF THE BOARD

Indofood is similar to Wilmar, they are diversified and doing plantation, milling and distribution business. Low oil price will lower down their operation cost and Indonesia gov is supporting this industry and make them more competitive as compete with Malaysia competitor in CPO. At the same time, they buy cheap CPO, soybean  and sugar cane, then  process and  sell the oil and sugar to indonesia market.

So, 2015 may be the recovery year for Wilmar and Indofood due to lower operating cost. Although China and indonesia are slow down, people in country still need to consume all these basic and relatively small spending in their life.

CPO prices on the decline for the last few days.  So, likely to trade range-bound 70-75.

Can even recommend him for the lead actor role for the UOB Commerical I recently watched a lot.

SUPER GROUP SHOWS GRADUAL RECOVERY WITH 4Q14 NET PROFIT RISING 14% TO S$26.8M
 4Q14 revenue rose to S$153.7m supported by higher Branded Consumer sales   Net other income of S$9.0m, up mainly due to gain on disposal of a property  Rewards shareholders with a second and final dividend of 2.1 SG cents per share.
Chairman and Managing Director of Super Group, Mr David Teo ( 张 骐
牧 ) said: &ldquo We are pleased to conclude the year on a positive note, reporting an increase in our net profit to S$26.8m in 4Q14. In particular, sales in the Branded Consumer segment showed healthy growth, as our rebranding efforts have yielded positive results for our Branded Consumer business.&rdquo
&ldquo Moving into 2015, we remain optimistic that our strategy of branding, product innovations and diversification will bring about sustainable growth as the Group enters 2015. We will vigilantly execute our growth strategies so that we will stay ahead of competition and pave the way for the Group&rsquo s long-term growth.&rdquo
Business Review
Singapore, 27 February 2015 &ndash Super Group Ltd, (&ldquo Super&rdquo , &ldquo the Group&rdquo or &ldquo 超 级 集 团 有 限 公 司 &rdquo ), the leading integrated instant food and beverage (&ldquo F& B&rdquo ) brand owner with a regional footprint in Asia, delivered net profit of S$26.8m for the three months ended 31 December 2014 (&ldquo 4Q14&rdquo ), up 14% YoY, on revenue of S$153.7m. Comparing this quarter to the three months ended 30 September 2014 (&ldquo 3Q14&rdquo ), the Group registered improved revenue and net profit that signals a gradual recovery moving into 2015.
Net other income increased 275% to $9.0m mainly due to the S$6.5m gain on disposal of the Group&rsquo s property in Chin Bee Crescent, Singapore. This helped to lift net profit, offsetting the impact of lower gross profit margin. Gross profit margin was 3ppt lower at 35% in 4Q14 due to the impact of higher raw material costs, particularly that of palm kernel oil.
For the twelve months ended 31 December 2014 (&ldquo FY14&rdquo ), net profit came in at S$71.6m on the back of revenue of S$539.5m. The 31% decline in net profit was partially due to the absence of a one-off gain of S$17.1m from the disposal of a 35.3% stake in Sun Resources Holdings Pte Ltd in May 2013

but u must take into account when 5 cts dividend was declared and given then, YZJ px was only $0.99 ~ $1.08

today volume extremely high for this counter. i think there is going to be more action this afternoon. as it stands, 5.5cents dividend is better than the previous years 5cents dividend. that should attract decent support. stay tuned and watch to the close.

my personal feel is that :

they started 1 or 2 Banyan Resort as a passion, a hobby, as think they enjoy the finese of life....

so you have spa ...etc

then it becomes a business idea...

i remember once i was in phuket with my ex gf about 18 years ago, we were brought to the Banyan Phuket for a free viewing... of course very nice....

but the price is " high class" .... maybe they should target the Chinese Markets....The China Chinese are willing to spend $, the more expensive the " better'

WinningStock      ( Date: 26-Feb-2015 12:17) Posted:

Maybe they should consider hybrid accommodation. In between hotel & hostel, lower than boutique hotel.Still Create the " Banyan feel" in them, but at a much lower cost.

CalvinChia888      ( Date: 26-Feb-2015 12:08) Posted:

have utmost respect for both HKP and CC.

but ...honest opinion .... : Banyan positioning " too high class"

everytime i go book hotels, check its prices, per nite at least USD 500 and above ?

nice hotels but....only for specific target markets.
