CapitaLand said it has secured a 60% interest in two adjacent prime residential sites in the New Southern Area of Chengdu, Sichuan, China, via a proposed share subscription in two Chinese companies for RMB752 million (about $155 million).

CapitaLand plans to build an estimated 4,600 apartment units on the 133,333 sq m sites to cater to first-time homebuyers and upgraders.

Construction is expected to begin in the second quarter of 2014 with the first phase targeted for launch by end 2014.

The two adjacent land parcels with a gross floor area of 479,850 sq m was secured by CapitaLand' s subsidiary, Shanghai Zhong Da Industry Development Co.

China must spend at least 41.6 trillion yuan ($6.8 trillion) over two decades to integrate rural workers living in cities and towns so the country realizes benefits of urbanization, a United Nations report said.

Spending may exceed 75 trillion yuan in a scenario with a higher rate of investment to improve living conditions and housing quality, according to the report released yesterday in Beijing. The study&rsquo s baseline assumptions are for the urban population to rise to 976 million in 2030 from 666 million in 2010 and integrate about 210 million migrant workers.

The bollinger bands are tightening so tight in rex

Lets hope the target price set by dbs vickers and uob kayhian are true at around $1.27

That is a massive 105% upside from here

If cannot reach anywhere near those price.. those analysts are just another bullshitter and better go fly kite
