The only overhang is the approx. additional S$9.4 million tax implication.
But even with a provison for that, we should see great earnings for the 2H 2025.

Poland, through its central bank (NBP), was the world' s largest buyer of gold in  2024  and continued this trend as the leading buyer in  2025  (so far, as reports from late 2025 confirm), significantly increasing its reserves due to geopolitical uncertainty and the desire for a safe-haven asset, outpacing traditional buyers like China and India. 
Key Details:
  • 2024:  Poland was the largest net buyer, acquiring around 90 tonnes, as reported by the World Gold Council (WGC).
  • 2025 (Year-to-Date):
    • Poland continued to lead, adding substantial amounts, such as 82.7 tonnes by October and 67 tonnes by early November, boosting reserves to over 500 tonnes.
    • In November 2025, Poland added another 12 tonnes, extending its buying streak.

Well this is a tricky situation, happy if they get away for a waiver of penalty as that alone is hefty.. But their auditor is big 4 so I am sure they can get a deal with LHDN given that this is msian authorities , $$ talk..    If the co has bought back shares from the market during the last 2 months, this capital gains will be good enough to offset some of the taxes.  But the rise today should signify some positive news to be released soon :)

Assumptions:  a)  Average gold sales price = $3,800 per oz
                        b)  Average cost of production = $1,406 per oz
                        c)  All other things being equal to H1 eg ore grade, output, weather, etc

Projections:
a) Production = 15,118 ozs gold/equivalent
b) income H2 = $ 33.2 mil 
c) Income FY 2025 = $52.65 mil

Earnings per share = $0.13   
                                = SGD0.16

Be patient and wait for the full year earnings to be announced in Feb 2026. For now I guess it will just stay $1.03-$1.11. Just my humble opinion.
