Why I am confident about CWX?

1. Oil price (Brent) is currently above US$63 and should stay above US$60 in the near future. 
2. Rights issue price at $0.009, undertaken by a few SSHs (which include the Chairman).
3. NAV per share after share placements and rights issue is US$0.0168 cents (S$0.0225). 
4. The above NAV per share is calculated when oil price around was US$50. Now, oil price is above US$60. I expect NAV per share to be slightly higher. 
5. The company has no debt or liquidity issue, unlike Noble. In fact, it will be flushed with cash after the rights issue, which is underwritten. So it should not be trading at less than 50% NAV per share. This does not make sense. 
6. From its recent results report: " With the production application (&ldquo PA&rdquo ) for one of the three successful wells drilled being approved by the Department ofMineral Fuels of Thailand (&ldquo DMF&rdquo ) in October 2017 and through discussions with the DMF for the other two wells, the Group is expecting these three new wells to go on stream by end of 2Q FY2018. The addition of the new wells is expected to increase the current production volume by more than double, and coupled with the current recovery in oil prices, the Group is expecting to turn in a better financial performance going forward."

Why the share price is doing so badly now?

1. Recent weakness in all penny stocks. 
2. Rights issue creating concerns among investors, as new business (fund investing) is not clear-cut and easy to understand. 
3. Sell-down by some SSHs, who did not want to continue to invest more $$$ in the company for the new business.

x 0 		The " action" will start when the rights and warrants are tradable. Watch for it. And it should be soon, as the company wants to complete everything by end of this year.

my take: after rights, the price got to pump up BUT don?t be greedy, those kakis will be happy if they can offload at 0.012. (30%). This counter is finished. Will not see 3 cents anymore.

Anyway, it?s blatant price manipulation. caD need to investigate and arrest the perpetrators.

x 0 		Sell-down is out of fear. The only surprise is that this came a few days after the leaked emails were made known.

No SGX query in that last few days. Nor did the company bother to clarify. I looked thru those emails, and I doubt there is anything illegal about the transactions between Imperium and the fund manger. They seem common.

My gut feel is that the emails were leaked by BBs who want to short Imperium. From the emails, it is obvious that the SSHs and management wanted Imperium&rsquo s share price to go up and remember 2 to 3 months ago, there was a period of time when Imperium was attacked daily by short-sellers for over a few weeks.

Imperium will rebound next week, as long as there is no evidence of wrongdoings. Fundamentals do not lie and at 7.4 cents, Imperium is value for money.

Come to think of it... if the rights are so good. Why must they back up with a list of stand by shareholders? If so good, Existing shareholders such as Rex, SSC and LL should subscribe and then the balance unpick up rights will not be so much right? If not so much, B.B. will not fry. No incentive to do so. Hence it?s a zero sum game.

Next, if u see their annual report, this hairman is also director of fortune short Long fund. Then u Google and will find the name of this gentleman called Tan Sze sing linked to this fund. He is also TOP shareholder. All kaki I think. All so funny... lol... Anyway, got to report cad to ask them check if they breach Any securities future act or not. So fishy. For me. Will be there next week

x 0 		Something is brewing from now to the AGM/EGM next friday. Current SSHs vs rights underwriters. Eventually, i believe such " competition" would be good for its share price.

Going back to fundamentals, at current share price, Loyz is definitely worth its salt, considering its high NAV per share.

Wa seems like this egm might be interesting. Wonder if any existing big shareholders will go and grill the management. Maybe ask them scrap the rights issue, ask these bunch of new investors to subscribe to share placement at same price as carnarvon at least. Jitsun, wavelink and rex together have close to 400mil shares, need another 400mil from other shareholders to support.

x 0 		After giving in much thoughts, I will still attend the AGM/EGM to vote against the placement of shares for new business and rights issues.

At current share price, there is nothing much for me to gain (and a lot to lose) by agreeing to the new business and subscribing to the rights. The management has yet to prove themselves and the irrevocable underwriting only stand to to benefit new investors who are not even current share holders.

All shareholders should come together to vote against the management! We should not agree to the rights issue as long as share price is below 1.5 cents!!

With irrevocable undertaking, the share price would not fall below 0.9 cents. Now trading at 1.1/1.2 cents, there is definitely more upside to downside.

One key line from the recent announcement -- For the avoidance of doubt, some of the Undertaking Persons do not hold Shares as at the date of this Announcement, and pursuant to the Irrevocable Undertakings, will become Shareholders at or prior to the Books Closure Date. Means some of them have to buy soon -- share price would be pushed up!

As long as you are not buying on contra and have the extra cash to subscribe to the rights, Loyz looks good!!

x 0 		If the management cannot show that it can improve current share price, there is no reason for shareholders to give them money to invest in other business. They simply have not proven themselves. I would rather they keep status quo and maintain only the Thai oil field as its only investment. To cut costs, management team should be streamlined since they need not do much being just 20% shareholder of the Thai oil field.

I  would vote against placing shares for the new business and against the issuing of rights at EGM. Hope all vote the same way as I do.
