If ceo ming z mei is sincere , his consortium has to put up a reasonably good offer.

This is his golden chance aftering gathering a powerful consortium group.

If he misses this one, he may not get another chance so soon or even never again.

If CIC is willing to pay US$ 14 bil for smaller outfit logicor , with a e commerce market much less significant than China, then ....... ......

You must be in China to know how advanced e commerce is in China compared to the rest of the world. It is so advanced it makes our "tap card payment system" look so embarrassing. Seriously.

In a global business strategy, if you cannot even conquer your own homeground, how to conquer setfoot on the outside world ?

China top guys are watching these movements as well as the people involved in this . It reflects a lot on who has bigger talents and who has not.

I really " pity " Mr Ng and Mr L. Their support in buying Rowsley shares resulted in non - reciprocal reaction from the bbs and its share price. Both on paper losses. Sad for both great corp men.

Same story. Same trend . From 9 cts to 30 cts.

I added 10 lot at 2.90 few days ago. Reasons : 1. If Elliott upstakes to more than 5%, based on their last entry $2.89, anything below $3 can buy is a buy. Note : i didnt buy a lot as my money not enough. Elliott TP should be : $3.30 to $3.80 2. Blackstone (rumored bidder) and Saudi PIF just Joint Fund US$ 40 billion may rise to US$ 100 billion for infrastructure and asset investments.

Agreed and thanks for sharing. This is a concservative number by all standard . ( no potential value is included esp considering the new development coming up for GLP in China and USA ....of Japan new development region too )

But conservatively at 1.2 x this 3.05 is $3.66 .....which is comfortable potential first offer.
Anything less I doubt GLP or its other shareholders would be interested.

I raised a question to GLP about what the value of NAV is if the fund management platform is included. This is their reply. It is estimated to be $3.05 according to the analysts.

" Our reported NAV is based on Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, which does not ascribe a full value for fund management. Please understand that according to SGX rules, we are unable to provide guidance beyond our reported numbers. Some analysts estimate a value for GLP&rdquo s fund management platform by applying an earnings multiple so their NAV is higher than GLP&rsquo s reported number. The average analyst NAV compiled by Bloomberg is currently S$3.05."

Is this correct ? Using layman way of calculating value :

50 mil sqm x S$ 1000 per sqm = S$ 50 000 mil

GLP Value = S$ 50 billion - 40% debt = S$ 30 billion

Any financial experts here ?

So GLP current market cap is grossly undervalued ?

Activist Fund. Vulture Fund.

Feels like buying back this GLP.

I sold at 2.79. And Buying back at 2.90 ? Hmmmmm....

Big Decision........for me

With Elliot in , feels like something is brewing Gur Feel

Managed to snag 10 at closing price (2.72), still much cheaper than the cd price.

Frankly, I buy not because I' m expecting the takeover deal to firm up soon. Everybody has been waiting, so I guess a few more months is still probable. Importantly, the deal must happen and I' m hoping for a 20% profit.

More hope, less analysis. Win more, lose less.

The avg costs of BBs = less than 15 cts / s

Expect AM to drop about - 22% .

That is, below 25 cts / s. If BBs fierce, below 20 cts.

Judging from the MFLEX "efficient" sale to China-based buyer, UE buyer could be China-based property giant.

I wont rule out Vanke. Cos that ' s " peanuts" to them.

If only Jack Ma understands the importannce of balancing tech business with global properties assets to balance "all rounded yield" a bit.

Go calculate how much rental in US$ terms Mc Donald's paid out these 40 years or so. If only in their heydays Mc knows the importance of the above.
