Not illegal per se,

but issue of fairness and ethic pops up here.

(Algo) often sold a large block of shares at a given price in one or more of the (parties') accounts, then quickly re-purchased approximately the same number of shares at the same price, putting the accounts back where they started, but giving the market the appearance that the stocks were more heavily traded than they really were," it alleged.

lida consider wrong meh. many people buy/sell buy.sell daily without making any money (sometime lost also). as situations change the decision to buy/sell can change.

Bigmama I am a fundamental analysis, not magician......meaning I need time to prove it!

Even though I hope IPCO will run all the way to 6.2 ASAP, I feel quite helpless when you come back to haunt me every 2 weeks.

It's only Jan now, 10 more months to go. I am not looking for 1000% returns, and I am happy so long as the return is good enough.

Bigmama      ( Date: 13-Jan-2014 06:23) Posted:

Lol.... All you can justify is calm down? I first bought albedo at 1.7 cents and profit many time over and it has reach your ipco target of 6.4. Lol.........Ipco still in the drains.

Your reasons for albedo maybe right but maybe wrong too.... Only time can tell but for now ride the albedo wave man to the big old blue....... Righteous! Righteous!

I see your postings in albedo thread and you provide very good reasons for your views and ask people there not to be so naive about the great promise of iskander .....But here your belief be even worst compare to them ......to believe ipco can reach 6.4 cents base on what?

Note- albedo stock perform ten times better than ipco and it always recovers.... Can't say that for ipco.

Unlikely.

This is not cashcow company. All their cash normally used to fund projects, if fact they are normally leveraged and hold minimum spare cash for such share buyback.

relax, this is a energy exploration company. Failure in exploration is usual and expected and investor should have factor it in when buying.

Just as a disappointing exploration cuts a big heap off Kris's share price, a successful exploration can replace that anytime.

Current share price already take into consideration the news of failure (perhaps even oversold). Not a good choice to sell now.

DYODD not vested.

Relax, Kreits are meant for longer term.

Now shorter term investors take on the following views=> > >

  1. Reits yields are like bonds coupon rate, so Riet should fall like bonds when Interest is rising.
  2. Kep Reit is higly leverage and should perform badly when % rise.

Well, I say relax. Those investors' concerns are understandable as   Reits are relative new asset and their charateristics are largely unknown even to most expert.

Whether Reits perform like bonds or like shares, we shall see. :)

Scroll back and refer to my previous posting on Yongnam thread. 6 to 7 months ago I already gave all the reason why Yongnam will fall.

In addition, I would like to factor in the impact of local's   high-housing debt problem that I did not consider then. The resulting view would be strong down trend for the next 4 months.

Article title=>

OCBC explains market rationale for Wing Hang Bank acquisition

Link=>   http://sg.finance.yahoo.com/news/ocbc-explains-market-rationale-wing-011500324.html

Key highlight=> OCBC confirmed what what I said earlier, the acquisition is to tap into China economy.

" Greater China is one of our four core markets together with Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. We have been building capabilities and investing in these core markets for several years, and will continue to do so, taking a long term view towards growth opportunities in these regions. Greater China presents excellent prospects for OCBC as China increasingly becomes the driver of economic growth in the region, and its interconnectivity with the rest of Asia and the world in trade, wealth and capital flows have created significant business activities in the Greater China region. Its currency, the Yuan, is fast becoming an increasingly prominent currency for international trade settlement and financing."

To me this is a good news for OCBC in mid to long term (5-10 years). No longer vested in OCBC.

Rosesyrup      ( Date: 07-Jan-2014 21:08) Posted:

Due to HK's unique position as   a financial hub for bigger Mainland, the acquisition will allow OCBC to tap into China growing economy, which would improve OCBC growth rate and competitive position.

Nevertheless, I am neutral on Banking sector for 2014.

Try to read before you post. SSW518 is express his opinion not informing you of new facts!

I have yet to ask you where does the nick, " Bigcigar" , goes? That nick only posted on 16 Dec to sing praise for another nick " Ace333" and totally stopped posting afterward.

Seriously, I don't know since when I have such a deep enmity with you, such that You even bother to create a nick just to harass me for a day.

LOL grow up or I will have to report you to the admin and get you banned like " Vincette" . Old man still behave like some primary school kids?

BTW, I am not even vested in Liongold and this is my only account.

Not vested in Liongold.
