due to 2 fishing season closed, the price of fish meal shot up ... and expect anchovy recovery 1 season 2015.   today, if i am not wrong touches a new low. shall wait and see ... now still pretty confusing and unclear with the direction ... sun comes up and the mist will disappear.

if go in will be for medium term ... haha .... say say only  laugh

Report is so confusing .... haha ... guess it is good to wait and see

Fishmeal players expect Peru anchovy recovery by first season of 2015

However,  producers canvassed by  Undercurrent  believe the poor stock situation, which has sent  fishmeal prices soaring  while stocks in China and Peru are running low, is shortlived.

&ldquo New data released and findings on sizes indicate that complete normalization of anchovy stock will take place in October next year, although we don&rsquo t know about the volumes,&rdquo Tasa&rsquo s Speziani said.

Peru fishmeal prices stay high as bids could climb further for remaining stock

Woah guys .... how to have chung chung perfect score   .... weak, or moderate at best is pretty much a fair report.

" Further warming of the tropical Pacific Ocean  is likely, so it also remains possible that the ocean and atmosphere will fully couple in the coming weeks to months," Australia&rsquo s bureau said in the fortnightly update. " If an El Nino is established, models suggest it will be weak, or moderate at best."

Also, it was reported,

Actual fish stocks may be higher as abnormal climate and environmental conditions along the Peruvian coast pushed fish closer to land and out of traditional fishing zones, which would partly explain Imarpe&rsquo s low findings, Oil World wrote.

" It remains to be seen how far fishmeal prices have to appreciate to sufficiently ration demand in the remainder of the season," Oil World wrote.

To contact the reporter on this story: Rudy Ruitenberg in Paris at rruitenberg@bloomberg.net

The report should be out anytime soon ....

Guys, great guessing and also trying to find the balance.

Fitch: China Fishery ops remain sound

November 27, 2014, 4:52 pm

China Fishery Group' s operations remain sound and deleveraging is on track  with the refund from the long-term supply agreement (LSA) with Russian suppliers, said Fitch Ratings in a note on Wednesday.

However, Fitch' s negative BB- rating on the company reflects the ongoing risk attached to the group' s need to refiance its $250 million Copeinca bonds, said Fitch.

" If the refinancing needs are addressed adequately, Fitch may revise the outlook to stable," wrote the ratings agency.

China Fishery is exploring various options to address the refinancing.

Read carefully ... If the parent company is strengthened financially it will also boost China Fishery' s standing.

Anyway market will decide ... One must learn to ride the wind of Change 15:57 hrs

They may not lend ... how about a dollar to dollar funding from the bank or strengthening CF financial strength to  borrow cheap money. CreditSights said  " bond coupon above 10 percent as " expensive," It is time to lower the cost of finance

Just a thought, not forgetting ... money coming back from Russian pollock and

Revenue from enlarged Peruvian Fishmeal Operations grows 162.5%,

Need to filter the noises and hear clearly. Will wait

Flyfox, this is what Pacific Andes Resources Development has said " The Company intends to utilise the net proceeds $195.5m of the rights issue for general working  capital purposes and/or reduction of the Company&rsquo s and/or the Group&rsquo s  borrowings (including,  mainly to support and/or assist China Fishery Group Limited in the redemption of the Copeinca Notes  and to repay the existing loan facilities) which may be effected through inter-company loans and/or by way of possible capital injection in one or more subsidiaries within the Group."

Choice of words are very precise - support and/or assist. Flyfox, you are right

Opportunists are trying to confuse and capitalise on the situation as usual ......  SP thought I went in at 0.295 .... no way. Manage to hold and exit Yuuzoo. Cannot anyhow hop ... will wait for clear signal

Where are all the people ??? Just don' t understand, just wanna to know. Pacific Andes dropped due to share dilution. That makes sense. It juz don' t make sense why CF drop when PA (HK) and PA (SG) raise $53m & $195.5m, ultimately to redeem Copeinca Bonds ? CreditSights said bond coupon above 10 percent is " expensive" . Redeeming the bonds will help to reduce their debt and further integration of fishmeal operations, increasing asset utilisation and reducing interest expense.

The company said the jump in sales was driven by a strong showing at its Peruvian fishmeal operations where revenue jumped 162 per cent to US$435 million.

Humm ... juz don' t understand, will wait and see ... let the dust settle

Flyfox, reading through the reports, it does show that they are doing the right thing to raise funds to redeem Copeinca Bonds.  Market sentiment was weak and management deemed a bond coupon above 10 percent as " expensive," CreditSights said. It does seem like the s^k is behaving irrational at this moment. It was a good thing that I let it go early. It is attractive now but will wait for it to settle. All I can say is interesting ......

China Fishery Sets March Deadline to Redeem Peruvian Unit' s Debt

By David Yong    Nov 24, 2014 12:16 PM GMT+0800

China Fishery spent more than $782 million taking over Copeinca last year, giving it control of the biggest anchovy quota-holder in Peru and the world' s third-largest fishmeal producer. Copeinca' s $2.5 billion of assets as at the end of March made up more than 90 percent of the group' s total, filings show.

The Hong Kong-headquartered company may raise funds by selling local-currency bonds in Hong Kong  or Singapore by December, CreditSights Inc. analysts said in a report published Oct. 23 that was based on meeting they had with China Fishery executives. Market sentiment was weak and management deemed a bond coupon above 10 percent as " expensive," CreditSights said.

Just trying to read up more about the recent happening ... interesting.

Pacific Andes proposes to raise $195.5 million via rights issue

PUBLISHED ON NOV 25, 2014 9:15 AM

Pacific Andes Resources Development (PARD), a global frozen fish supplier, announced on Tuesday that it proposes to undertake a fully underwritten rights issue of 3.83 billion new ordinary shares at an issue price of S$0.051 for each rights share.

The offer will be on the basis of 4 rights shares for every 5 existing ordinary shares in the capital of the mainboard-listed company.

The subscription price of S$0.051 per rights share represents a discount of about 52.8 per cent on the stock' s closing price in Singapore of S$0.108 on Monday, the last trading day immediately before the announcement.

Net proceeds of the proposed rights issue, after deducting estimated expenses of approximately $3.2 million, is expected to be approximately $192.3 million.

Btw just to ask,

Will ChinaFishery have another rights? I read somewhere that PAIH conduct rights to fund the Copeinca Bonds so that CF don' t need to for out money or something..

But just wanna know how this makes sense.

Alternatively, i thought PAIH will fund PARD rights, PARD rights will use to fund CF rights...

All the while this fish do not make sense. Good thing went over to Yuuzoo. Let go a bit too early before 0.50 but better than get stuck ....   hahahaha

Quite irrational, Mother Pacific Andes is funding baby, CF and it went down. Retail investors like you and me also feel it makes no sense ....

Wonder what is happening .... should be clearer when the dust settle.

I find it contracdicting that the coming cash injection from China Fishery' s parent company Pacific Andes' s rights issue is causing a decline in the stock prices.

Redeeming the S$250 million bonds will mean that China Fishery need to pay close to S$25 million in interests, dividend per annum to the bondholders, i.e. wouldn' t that mean more profits for its bottomline by redeeming the bonds?

Cash position is challenging now but I believe it can be resolved. The shareprice is deliberately held down, I believe.

I also find it odd the Undercurrent news is so interested in updating the credit ratings for China Fishery.......... it feels so deliberate along with the anchovy season news that hammer the stock.

No doubt facts point to increase fear of a precarious position but money is coming in from the sale of its stake in Russian Pollock business.

It' s all about cashflow management, which I believe can be handled well. Capital can be raised easily in this part of the world with lower interests.

It' s a good thing that the rights issue is coming from Pacific Andes and not China Fishery, no diliution for China Fishery' s shareholders.

Just an opinion from me no doubt on the facts that point to the precarious position but look at the upside......

P.S: Last quarter results show good earnings. Think about it.

Think that writer was referring to YuuZoo.   Don' t quite trust a company that does not have long term debts.   YuuZoo has neither,   no long term or short term.   Either very new or not up to

the mark.   If they can' t get banks to give them money,   why should we?   Sorry to say that stock has no fundamentals and cheonged purely based on speculations.

Shushshsh....Yuuzoo and CF are two different stocks, both also interesting.

You don say CF has no potential, it' s just the time horizon.  For CF, I am thinking it' ll be a 10 to 15 year horizon, very different.  It' s in food, a special part of it and I must have a holding in a key food stock.

In a portfolio, you hv to have different stocks.

ManZzz why take such trouble to talk about all the craps. Come over to Yuuzoo and save you all the story telling. Stockpicker, you don' t get tired one meh. Look at today' s performance for Yuuzoo is so exciting compared to the boring CF. Just look at the volume .... Can' t understand why you are doing all this. Boey Sian meh ... But I like to learn how you tell story from nothing to become something.

Haha ... Remember to read the news this Sunday very sensational for the market ....

Let' s see what is the price of Yuuzoo end of Oct, Nov and Dec as compare to CF
